Out of the many customer service centers that I have talked to, Verizon Wireless has always been one of the worst. I have had many issues concerning the quality of phones that I have bought over the past few years and Verizon (for the most part) has always been almost unwilling to help.
My family has a total of 3 family plans (5 phones per plan) with Verizon since 2002. My sister once had a phone, LG Chocolate, which had to be replaced 5 times within a month. Verizon kept sending her refurbished phones which did not work; one of the phones had the buttons peel off with the plastic protector. Finally the sent her a completely new model phone.
I personally have had phones that continued to shut off at random times during the day. This was a frusterating occurance (especially when it happend various times per day).
When we called Verizon about all the issues we were having, they did not show sympathy. Many of them were really rude and seemed as though they hated their job and didn't care about custoemrs. They continued to connect us to several people and it ended up being hours long of phone conversations with different people and no resolution.
Over time, we waited for our upgrades to come up and have had less problems with them. I think that Verizon customer service is improving, but I have had my share of frustrations with them.
